Where it all started

Cutting Edge was recorded at ARS Recording Studio in Alsip, Illinois — a milestone for guitarist Rick Kelly and his collaborators Mark Altieri and Bill Janness. The album spans jazz fusion, blues, and ambient-inspired instrumentals, all performed live in the studio with the energy and immediacy that only a shared room can produce.

Now remastered and available on all major platforms, Cutting Edge stands as the foundation of Rick Kelly’s catalog — raw, original, and built to last.
